They are happy while being involved with projects and people, and they also seems to look younger, longer. When stressed they may have difficulty with breathing, and are prone to bronchitis an asthma. They have a tendency to acquire sprains and fractures in areas of the arms and shoulders. They may also get bumps, bruises, scrapes, and cuts in the same area as well. Natives of Gemini are often excitable or high strung. However, their state of mind tends to affect their health, because anxiety and nervousness can make them sick. The breasts and stomach is ruled by Cancer. Women of Cancer have soft, creamy skin, a curving décolletage, and beautiful bosoms. The men of Cancer have flat stomachs and well defined chests. 

Although, as Cancerians grow older, they tend to gain weight and have a difficult time losing it. Cancerians are also susceptible to emotional stress, tension, and anxiety. Although Leos don't become ill easily, when they do, they tend to bounce back quickly. Also to avoid the risk of a heart attack a Leo must learn to slow down in the later years of their life. The nervous system and intestines are ruled by Virgo. They can use any knowledge they accumulate for a prctical use. They are also intuitive and discriminating due to having a delicate and finely tuned nervous system. A Virgo's worst enemy is anxiety, nervous tension, and emotional stress. Many may end up worrying themselves sick, literally. Many problems are usually turned into themselves, when things go wrong, and physical aliments often occur; most usually it is intestinal. Indigestion, ulcers, liver upsets, gas pains, colitis, and bowel problems are common because Virgoans have very fussy digestive systems. They are also troubled with skin conditions due to nerves. Many are hypochondriacs, because they tend to worry too much about their health. The kidneys, lumbar region, and buttocks are ruled by Libra. The women of Libra have graceful lower spines and curvy buttocks, and the men have well-shaped and muscular backs. Librans enjoy being healthy, although, in their teens it is hard, but then becomes easier as they grow in to adulthood. The sexual organs are ruled by Scorpio, and they are known for their imagination and bundles of energy. They never do anything halfway, and are considered possessive, highly sexed, and passionate. A heathly sex life is good for a Scorpio's well being. Many will use anger in a sexual way, by either using or withholding sex, as a weapon. The hips, thighs, and liver are ruled by Sagittarius. They are very active people who love freedom, sunshine, fresh air, and the outdoors. Sagittarians will become ill if they don't get enough exercise. Both the men and women have long, well-shaped legs, and most are graceful, well-developed, and coordinated, and are considered to have a buoyant walk to them. The bones, joints, knees, and teeth are ruled by Capricorn. Capricorns are known for their lovely bone structure and stately carriage. The women are very photogenic, due to their angular beauty. Both the men and women are capable of withstanding stress and illness, because they have vigorous and enduring constitutions. Capricorns are also known for their longevity, and their health seems to get better as they grow older. A Capricorns bones, knees, and joints are susceptible to accidents, bumps, fractures, cuts, and bruises. The part of the body that tires the easiest are the knees, and many Capricorns complain of bone aches throughout the body and a trick knee. Stiff joints, arthritis, orthopedic problems, rheumatism, and neuralgia are the most common dangers for Capricorns. London, Jan 11 (ANI): For those who suffer from migraine, slipping on a pair of sunglasses may help ease the chronic pain, say researchers.

Although it’s long been known that light makes migraines worse, the reason why has been unclear.

A research team from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre have explained why light makes migraines worse.

They have identified a new visual pathway that underlies sensitivity to light during migraine in both blind individuals and in individuals with normal eyesight.

Migraine pain is believed to develop when the meninges, the system of membranes surrounding the brain and central nervous system, becomes irritated, and nearly 85 percent of migraine patients are become extremely sensitive to light, a condition known as photophobia.

“Migraine patients may wear sunglasses, even at night,” Nature Neuroscience quoted study’s senior author Dr Rami Burstein, Professor of Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine at BIDMC and Harvard Medical School, as saying.

He added that the dimmest of light could make migraine pain worse.

It was the observation that even blind individuals who suffer from migraines were experiencing photophobia that led Burstein and first author Rodrigo Noseda, PhD, to hypothesize that signals transmitted from the retina via the optic nerve were somehow triggering the intensification of pain.

The investigators studied two groups of blind individuals who suffer migraine headaches. Patients in the first group were totally blind due to eye diseases such as retinal cancer and glaucoma; they were unable to see images or to sense light and therefore could not maintain normal sleep-wake cycles.

Patients in the second group were legally blind due to retinal degenerative diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa.

While they were unable to perceive images, they could detect the presence of light and maintain normal sleep-wake cycles.

“While the patients in the first group did not experience any worsening of their headaches from light exposure, the patients in the second group clearly described intensified pain when they were exposed to light, in particular blue or gray wavelengths,” Burstein said.

“This suggested to us that the mechanism of photophobia must involve the optic nerve, because in totally blind individuals, the optic nerve does not carry light signals to the brain,” he added.

During the study, researchers performed a series of experiments in an animal model of migraine. After injecting dyes into the eye, they traced the path of the melanopsin retinal cells through the optic nerve to the brain, where they found a group of neurons that become electrically active during migraine.

“When small electrodes were inserted into these ‘migraine neurons,’ we discovered that light was triggering a flow of electrical signals that was converging on these very cells,” said Burstein. “This increased their activity within seconds.”

And even when the light was removed, he notes, these neurons remained activated.

“This helps explain why patients say that their headache intensifies within seconds after exposure to light, and improves 20 to 30 minutes after being in the dark,” he added. (ANI)
